Ingredients
For the Chicken & Potato Filling
- 1 cup boiled chicken, shredded
- 1 cup boiled potatoes, mashed
- ½ cup mixed bell peppers, finely diced
- ½ cup red onion, finely diced
- ⅓ cup green onion, finely diced
- 1–2 jalapeños, finely diced (optional, for heat)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup carrots, boiled & finely diced
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp chicken bouillon powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
For the Egg Wash
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
For the Breadcrumb Coating
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp dried parsley
To Assemble & Fry
- 15 slices white bread (crusts removed)

Method
1. Prepare the Filling In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, mashed potatoes, bell peppers, red onion, green onion, jalapeños (if using), carrots, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
Season with salt, black pepper, chicken bouillon powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, red chili powder, and chili flakes. Mix thoroughly until everything is well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning.
2. Prepare Breading Station
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk for the egg wash.
- In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs with dried parsley.
3. Assemble the Rolls
- Using a rolling pin, gently flatten each bread slice and trim off the crusts.
- Place 2–3 tablespoons of the chicken-potato filling on one end of the bread.
- Roll tightly into a cigar shape, sealing the edge with a little egg wash to prevent opening during frying.
